Translation work began in 2006. An alphabet and writing system has been created, and they've started translating Luke, but much more work is needed to get the Scripture into their language. Work has been at a standstill for awhile and we're hoping that it starts again soon.You can be praying that:
- we can hire two good translators with a vision for the work and that there will be lots of people able to train and watch over them.
- lots of good work would be started soon.
Population: about 55,000 Ngoreme people
Work is restarting in 2012. Right now, we need YOU to help with LOTS OF PRAYER for translators and people to help with the project. We want to get this project moving again and get the Word of God into a language the Ngoreme people understand!!! I'll keep you updated as I learn more!
