Thank You GraceSpring Kids!!!!

Dear GraceSpring Kids,

The Missionary Kids at Lake Victoria Learning Center in Musoma, Tanzania, would like to shout out ASANTE SANA (Thank you so much!) to each of the kids at GraceSpring Church in Richland, MI.  We are AmAzEd at your generosity and willingness to "Catch Quarters" and raise money for us all the way around the world, and want you to know how much we appreciate you!
"Asante" means THANKS in Swahili!
Here are a few notes from my students saying thanks, and sharing a bit about life in Tanzania: (Click on the pictures to make them bigger if you need to!)

Jessica, from New Zealand
Kara, from Holland, MI USA!
Luke, from America and Australia
Alex, from New Zealand
Michaja, from the Netherlands
My students could hardly believe that you collected that many quarters, and all for us!  Just as Jessica said, you made a HUGE difference for the kids and families here in Musoma through your hard work and generous gift!  We got to use the money to help purchase much-needed desks, and some fabulous books that we are loving reading.
We LOVE our new desks!
(and the fact that Miss Crystal let us sit on them for this picture... :D)
We are SOOO thankful for you and want you to know how amazing you are!

Thanks so much!

Heri ya Krismas!

(ahem.  For those of you who don't speak Swahili...
Heri ya Krismas means Merry Christmas!)

(back to the point of this post...)

Wow!  Kids continually put me in awe.  Ok, it happens often, I'll admit, so I really shouldn't be surprised.  But this time, the awesomeness extended all the way from Michigan to Musoma!

A couple of days ago, I got a package from my church.  Inside ... was this.

The kids at GraceSpring Bible made my month!  Not only did I get some lovely cards from the missions group at the church, but I got a million hand-drawn cards from the kids, some with some great notes attached.
They make my house a bit brighter, bring the joy of Christmas a bit closer from home, and make me smile to remember great times hanging out in the kid's wing at church this past year on furlough.  I miss you guys!

It's the little things that kids do that make life great.

It doesn't take much.

I am blessed.

Thanks, GraceSpring Kiddos!  I'm so thankful for you!!!
